Fair Showcase 2024

The Summer wrapped up with the American Legion County Fair. The Conservation District had a great line-up of events for all to enjoy. While there, people stopped in and explored our booth that displayed the various services we provide throughout the year. Also, in coordination with the Farm Bureau, PACD, Allied Milk Producers, the Cambria County Conservation District was thrilled to provide the Agriculture Lab Immersion Trailer. It allowed guests to learn about PA farms, brought awareness to environmental considerations that impact food production, provided experience riding on a tractor through a VR corn field and so much more. In addition, guests that filled out a survey were provided with a FREE 1/2 pint of milk from a local dairy; Vale Wood Farms. Check below to see some of the highlights from this year’s events.
